Storyboarding animatics analysis

When we watched our animatics we felt it gave us a good visual picture of how the film we are producing is going to look like. We had a rough idea of the ASDs of our shots and could estimate how long our film will be. It helped us coming up on improvements for our film like having maybe more detailed storyboards to work with. We didn’t think our storyboards where messy but we did need more information on how long the shot will lose and what camera angle would be the best. Doing animatics has allowed us to decide what filming techniques are best to use and if it flows well in to the next shot. We also noticed some inconsistencies with our script and storyboards and could fix it before we went into production. It wasn’t hard to do an animatic because of the technology we had available to help us and therefore it didn’t took us long to create one making it even time efficient.
